Bradley Adds Financial Services Attorneys Joe Wilson and Gray Gilmore in Birmingham

Bradley welcomes Joe Wilson and J. Graham “Gray” Gilmore to the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group in Birmingham.

“As Birmingham continues to be an important financial market in the region, Joe and Gray bring significant experience in mortgage lending and insurance coverage to our clients,” said Bradley Birmingham Office Managing Partner J. Andrew Robison.

Mr. Wilson joins as a senior attorney with extensive experience in the mortgage lending industry and is a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic counsel in aligning their business objectives and results through policy creation and implementation. He has handled a range of legal matters, including trying cases in state and federal courts, involving mortgage banking, administrative law, regulatory and enforcement, municipal law, real estate, and general and appellate litigation. Prior to joining Bradley, Mr. Wilson serve as general counsel, chief legal officer, and chief risk officer for an independent mortgage banker, where he implemented and oversaw a robust compliance management system, managed litigation, and oversaw reporting for suspicious activities. An active member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, he received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University and his B.A. from Auburn University.

Mr. Gilmore joins as an associate and focuses his practice on commercial and financial services litigation. Prior to joining Bradley, he gained experience in a range of commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters while working for a small local firm. Mr. Gilmore is an effective problem solver who provides excellent client service and preemptive legal work as part of each client relationship. He received his J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law, serving as an associate editor of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. While enrolled at Samford, Mr. Gilmore was a joint degree student and simultaneously earned his M.B.A. He also received a B.S. from Troy University.
