Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli has continued its recent expansion in Nashville and added Joseph Hubbard to the firm’s Litigation Department as a shareholder. His hiring follows that of a team of commercial finance attorneys in Nashville in October and Bert Stemmler in July. The Commercial Litigation Practice added Neil Austin in Boston earlier this year.

As an experienced commercial and civil litigator, Hubbard focuses his practice on helping clients navigate complex litigation and legal conflicts and finding the right solution for their business. He has extensive experience as a civil litigator who has won trials in front of judges and juries across the state of Tennessee. He represents individuals and corporate clients in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration and before administrative agencies. He advises clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, assists businesses in solving disputes, and acts as outside counsel to corporations and organizations. He is also an experienced appellate advocate. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Nashville Bar Association and is a fellow of the Nashville Bar Foundation.
Hubbard received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was editor in chief of the Tennessee Law Review. He holds a B.A., magna cum laude from the University of Tennessee and is a recipient of the Torchbearer Award – the highest student honor conferred by the university.
