The ultimate goal of this panel is to provide attendees with ideas as to how they can start their legal careers off on a strong foot.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is already pervasive in our everyday lives and in various industries, from health care to transportation to manufacturing, to name just a few. On one hand, AI promises to improve the way our clients create and deliver their products to the market and the way lawyers advise clients and litigate matters. On the other hand, AI creates new ethical, legal and practical issues that lawyers ought to be aware of and understand. One thing is certain: AI is transforming the practice of law, from legal research and document review, to drafting contracts, briefs and estate planning documents. But, will AI be able to help select a jury? Will it be ethical and lawful to file a brief in federal court solely “written” by AI? What can and should lawyers do to protect the integrity of the profession while harnessing the power and promise of AI? This panel discussion introduces the perspectives of several industry and legal experts who remain at the forefront of the AI technological revolution, and aims to provide insight to practitioners regarding the advantages and limitations of utilizing AI in the practice of law.
