Bradley is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner Rod Kanter has been elected to serve as a member of the board of directors for the National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), the premier trade association for lawyers serving the municipal bond market.
Mr. Kanter is part of Bradley’s Public Finance team and concentrates his practice on helping cities, counties and other public bodies raise funds, improve services and grow their economies. He provides the full gamut of tax, securities and bond structuring services, and has experience advising clients on federal securities laws and compliance.
An active member of NABL, Mr. Kanter previously served as chair of the General Law and Practice Committee and a member of the Steering Committee, as well as vice chairman of NABL’s Fundamentals of Bond Law Seminar and as chairman of The Essentials bond law seminar. He is a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel, is recognized in Chambers USA for Public Finance in Alabama and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2012.
Since 1979, NABL has promoted the integrity of the municipal market through the education of its members in the law affecting state and municipal bonds. NABL serves as a forum for the exchange of ideas as to law and practice, giving members valuable tools to help them improve the state of the art in the field.
