Bradley is pleased to announce that Michael Casey Williams, a partner in the firm’s Jackson office, has been named the recipient of Bradley’s 2023 Diversity Leadership Award.
Established in 2015, the Diversity Leadership Award recognizes a Bradley partner who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to promoting and advancing the firm’s goal of being a diverse and mutually supportive community.

In his recruiting role, he has identified diverse candidates and helped forge strong relationships, demonstrating the firm’s commitment to our core values.”
Mr. Williams joined Bradley in 2015 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, focusing his practice on litigating claims involving mass torts, commercial contract disputes, real estate transactions, and employment matters. He has additional experience in product litigation, representing clients in the automotive, heavy equipment, consumer and recreational product arenas. Mr. Williams also assists clients with issues regarding their intellectual property rights and litigates various technology-related disputes involving patents, trademarks, and trade secret rights. Additionally, he works with a variety of entrepreneur organizations, serving as an advisor and mentor to early-stage startups and helping them navigate challenges as they grow and mature.
In addition to his law practice, Mr. Williams is an active member of the Jackson community and the legal industry. He serves as special counsel to the Character and Fitness Committee of the Mississippi Bar and is on the Executive Committee of the Intellectual Property Section. He also co-chairs the Membership Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Intellectual Property Litigation. Mr. Williams serves on the board of directors for the 100 Black Men of Jackson, Inc.
Mr. Williams received his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and earned his B.S. in biological engineering from Mississippi State University. In 2022, he was selected as a 2022 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
