National law firm Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce Catarina Colón has been named a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation.
Based in Milwaukee, Colón is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice team. She concentrates much of her practice on the mergers and acquisitions of companies, including asset and stock purchases, with an eye to the myriad of employment issues inherent in corporate transactions. In addition, she counsels clients on day-to-day employment matters, including standard policies and employee handbooks, employment agreements, severance agreements, terminations, retention and recruiting practices, disciplinary procedures, and requests for accommodation. Colón co-founded the firm’s Workplace Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team, a subgroup of the firm’s Labor and Employment practice.
The Fellows organization honors State Bar of Wisconsin members who have achieved significant accomplishments in their careers and contributed leadership and service to their communities. The Fellows membership is limited to 2.5% of the State Bar’s total membership. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Fellows Board of Trustees.
