Holland & Knight has strengthened its Private Wealth Services Group with a team of three attorneys in Boston. The group includes Partners Mark Swirbalus and Marshall Senterfitt and Associate Joshua Bearce. All previously practiced at Goulston & Storrs.

"Mark and Marshall operate as a team and have established a great reputation in New England as 'go-to' fiduciary litigators," said David Scott Sloan, co-chair of Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group. "They will aid us in expanding our nationwide dispute resolution practice that is largely based on the West Coast. Their extensive skill sets and experience will deepen our footprint in that market, as well as bolster the strength and depth of our national Private Wealth Services Group."

"I am confident that Mark and Marshall will be excellent additions to our firm's Boston office," said Christopher Boyett, co-chair of Holland & Knight's Global Private Wealth Services Group. "We are thrilled to welcome them to our firm."

Mr. Swirbalus represents individuals, families, charitable organizations, and bank and trust companies as beneficiaries, trustees, executors, administrators and personal representatives. He handles a broad range of trust- and estate-related disputes, including trust and will contests involving allegations of undue influence, incompetency and fraud; breach of fiduciary duty and removal actions; contested accountings; and trust reformation, modification and interpretation actions. Mr. Swirbalus received a J.D. degree from Boston College Law School and a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College.

"Marshall and I are eager to utilize Holland & Knight's national platform and to build upon the existing strength of its Private Wealth Services Group," said Mr. Swirbalus. "We are delighted to be joining the firm."

Mr. Senterfitt advises clients in litigating and resolving high-stakes trust and estate disputes, including fiduciary duty claims; trust and will contests involving issues such as undue influence, lack of capacity or fraud; and other probate and fiduciary litigation matters. In his practice, he serves private individuals, trusts and trustees, and a broad range of commercial enterprises and professional service providers. Mr. Senterfitt received a J.D. degree from Northeastern University School of Law and a B.A. degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

"The firm's vast resources will allow for both Mark and I to strengthen our practices and enhance the services that we provide to our clients," said Mr. Senterfitt. "We are particularly excited to expand our work with financial institutions on fiduciary representation matters."

Mr. Bearce focuses his practice on probate and fiduciary litigation. He received a J.D. degree from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. degree from Suffolk University.
