Rachelle’s practice focuses on counseling, protection, and licensing of intellectual property rights, with an emphasis on trademark prosecution and global brand management. She assists domestic and multinational companies with some of the most well-known brands around the globe in the selection, clearance, registration, and enforcement of trademarks; the licensing of trademark rights; and the assignment and integration of trademark rights acquired in commercial transactions.
Rachelle additionally maintains a strong pro bono practice, where she has, among other things, assisted organizations such as Partners in Health with protecting and enforcing its trademark and Orthodox Union with protecting and enforcing its “U in a circle” certification mark, which tells consumers whether foods meet its standards for being kosher.
