Ballard Spahr and 14 of its attorneys have been recognized in the 12th edition of IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals.
To compile this year’s recognition, IAM researchers conducted 1,800 interviews over five months with attorneys, patent attorneys, and in-house counsel. Individuals qualified for inclusion when they received sufficient positive feedback from peers and clients on their “exceptional skill sets” and “profound insights into patent matters.” For firms overall, IAM looked for depth, market presence, and level of work on which they are typically engaged.
“Ballard Spahr is a great one-stop shop – it provides deep bench strength, an excellent work product, and a personal touch,” one reviewer wrote. “The firm is capable of handling very detailed and very technical patents, and its attorneys establish themselves as an extension of the client’s business to understand its unique challenges. The team is accessible and can effectively weigh the legal and practical considerations when providing guidance and do so on a cost-effective basis. When Ballard Spahr is involved, you know you are in good hands.”
