Ballard Spahr’s Patents team, led by Brian C. Meadows, has won Managing IP’s Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year (South) Award.
The nearly 30 attorneys and patent agents of the Patents team provide industry-wide services in patent prosecution and patent portfolio development and management, as well as collaboration in patent aspects of transactions.
The Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year (South) Award is the latest recognition for Ballard Spahr’s Patents team, which was named a 2023 Top 10 Patent Firm – North America - North East by Patent Lawyer and earned a National Tier 1 Patent Law ranking in the 2023 Best Law Firms. Fourteen of the firm’s Intellectual Property attorneys were recognized in the 2022 edition of IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals, and more than a dozen patent attorneys and patent agents received the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Patent Pro Bono Achievement Certificate in 2021 as recognition for “volunteering significant time and effort to help financially under-resourced inventors and small businesses protect their ideas, positioning them to more fully realize their ideas and dreams.”
