Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to welcome James H. McConnell to the firm's New York office as counsel in the Intellectual Property Department.
A seasoned intellectual property litigator and analyst, McConnell has represented clients in federal courts and the International Trade Commission (ITC). Coming from a multidisciplinary background, his litigation experience spans a wide range of technologies, from computer hardware/software and wireless standards to pharmaceuticals and medical devices. McConnell works with clients asserting or defending against patent infringement.
In addition to active litigation, McConnell has experience working with clients on portfolio analysis and pre-litigation strategy. On the corporate side, McConnell assists with patent due diligence and risk assessments. Recognizing the international nature of many matters, McConnell also has experience working with cross-border teams.
He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and B.A. from Hamilton College.
