Holland & Knight has strengthened its Litigation Section with the addition of experienced litigator Brent Gary as a partner in Tysons. Mr. Gary joins the firm from Reed Smith.
Mr. Gary's practice focuses on commercial litigation, with particular experience in the representation of entities in commercial and government contracting disputes. He has extensive experience in civil litigation in federal and state courts involving product liability and business litigation, financial services matters, construction-related issues, real property disputes, eminent domain issues, representation of policyholders in insurance coverage disputes and commercial-related disputes involving fraud.
"Brent's demonstrated ability and experience across multiple practice areas, as well as his reputation as a strong litigator, make him a great asset to our litigation practice and to the firm," said John Brownlee, leader of Holland & Knight's Northern Virginia Litigation Practice Group.
"We have been familiar with Brent's work for many years and impressed by his capabilities as a litigator," said William Gould, executive partner of Holland & Knight's Tysons office. "We look forward to having him on our team."
"Holland & Knight has one of the largest litigation practices in the United States, and I look forward to collaborating with its exceptional team of trial lawyers," said Mr. Gary. "I am thrilled to be part of this team where I can continue to grow my practice and serve my clients."
Mr. Gary received a J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a B.A. degree from Indiana University.
