NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) — Famed lawyer and deal-facilitator Kenneth Feinberg has filed a lawsuit seeking repayment of more than $3 million he loaned to Courtroom Connect in 2014.

Kenneth Feinberg filed a complaint Nov. 2 in the New York Supreme Court against Courtroom Connect Inc., alleging breach of contract. The defendant removed the case to federal court on Dec. 5.

Feinberg alleges in his complaint that he loaned Courtroom Connect $3,538,000. He claims he demanded repayment of the loan on July 22, 2022, per the terms of a note dated March 14, 2014. Feinberg further claims the terms of the note require repayment of the loan upon demand. He alleges that his demand for payment has been ignored by Courtroom Connect and that it is in breach of the terms of loan contract.

Courtroom Connect provides litigation technology services.

Feinberg seeks monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. He is represented by Alex Reisen of Arkin Solbakken LLP in New York.
