TAMPA, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - An unsupervised 4-year-old sustained a traumatic brain injury in a parking lot, a Florida lawsuit alleges.

Bari Edwards filed suit on behalf of W.E. on March 22 in Hillsborough County Circuit Court against Achievability Therapy Services, which provides services at Achievers Day School in Lutz.

The suit says W.E. fell in the parking lot at Achievers in December, resulting in pain and suffering, disability, scarring, mental anguish and medical care, among other claims.

Achievability was negligent in maintaining the parking lot, supervising the plaintiff and training staff.

Edwards is represented by Joseph Kopacz of Morgan & Morgan.
