BOSTON (Legal Newsline) - Plainridge Park Casino in Massachusetts faces a lawsuit over information it provides to gamblers.

Gregory Katopodis, Alan Casso, David Carlson, Ki, Joyal and Edward Petersen filed a class action complaint on August 26 in Suffolk County Superior Court against Plainville Gaming and Redevelopment, LLC d/b/a Plainridge Park Casino for violation of the Massachusetts Gen. Laws Ch. 93A 2 & 9.

According to the complaint, Plainridge willfully and knowingly refuses to send its rewards cardholders notice of their gambling wins and losses in a matter that satisfies its obligations under Massachusetts' "The Gaming Act," resulting in those patrons never having received the information they are entitled to. This allegedly causes them to be deprived of the ability to make informed decisions about their gambling habits. Plaintiffs allege the Plainridge's conduct is done deliberately.

Plaintiffs are represented by Jonathon D. Friedmann.
