Mott's sued over its 100% juice line

Federal Court
Motts

LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) – A recent class action lawsuit against Keurig Dr. Pepper and Mott’s complains that their juices are not 100% juice, as they claim to be.

Kim Siflinger filed her case in Ventura County Superior Court on June 11, and  the defendants removed the case to Los Angeles federal court in August.

“(T)hey are each advertised and warranted as 100% juice,” the suit says. “Yet this is simply not true.

“Defendant’s 100% Juice products are fortified with chemical preservatives and/or flavors, including ascorbic acid, sodium benzoate and sodium metabisulfite.”

Pursuing the case are the San Diego firms Sommers Schwartz and The Gilliland Firm.
