Brain power not better, says buyer of Neuriva supplements

Federal Court
Neuriva

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Legal Newsline) – Supplements that claim to improve brain performance aren’t delivering, a class action lawsuit says.

Thomas Matthews filed the case June 19 in Sacramento, Calif., federal court against Reckitt Benckiser over its Neuriva brain performance supplements.

Claiming to be “clinically proven” to fuel “brain performance” is misleading consumers, the suit says.

“Defendants have no scientific or clinical proof that Neuriva provides any benefit to the brain or that its key advertised ingredients can actually access the brain in sufficient amounts – or in any amount – to provide meaningful brain performance benefit,” the lawsuit says.

“Defendants’ promises about Neuriva and their representations about Neuriva’s key ingredients are simply false or, in some instances, disturbingly misleading.”
