BOSTON (Legal Newsline) — Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey has filed a lawsuit against a solar array design and construction company Dynamic Energy, claiming it is in violation of environmental regulations.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts filed a complaint April 28 against Dynamic Energy Solutions LLC, alleging violation of state and federal environmental regulations.
The Commonwealth of Massachusetts alleges in its complaint that Dynamic has not implemented the required "stormwater controls" at its 18.5-acre solar array development in Williamsburg. The Commonwealth claims stormwater drainage is being discharged in "extreme amounts" that is polluting streams, filling wetlands with sediment and contaminating the West Branch Mill River.
The Commonwealth seeks civil penalties for each environmental violation and all other appropriate relief. It is represented by Nora Chorover, Special Assistant Attorney General, Office of the Attorney General Environmental Protection Division.
