California woman claims Neutrogena skincare products are mislabeled as 'oil free'

LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A California woman has filed a class action against Johnson & Johnson alleging its Neutrogena skincare products are falsely labeled as "oil free." 

Narguess Noohi, individually and on behalf of all other members of the general public similarly situated, filed a complaint  April 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc., and Does 1-100 alleging fraud and other claims. 

Noohi alleges in the class action complaint that Johnson & Johnson is misleading consumers with false claims that its Neutrogena skincare products are "oil free." Noohi claims the Neutrogena products contain Ethylhexl Palmitate and soybean sterols which are derived from palm and soybean oils despite their labeling stating they contain no oil. 

Noohi seek monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Todd Friedman PC in Woodland Hills.
