Apogee Law Group seeks confirmation of more than $400,000 arbitration award against Wantba

SANTA ANA, Calif. (Legal Newsline) – A California law firm is seeking to confirm a more than $400,000 arbitration award against a Maryland company.

Apogee Law Group PC filed a petition on June 28 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Cathy Trading LLC, doing business as Wantba, seeking to confirm an arbitration award and final judgment.

The plaintiff is seeking to confirm a $402,543.83 arbitration award in its favor against the defendant in a case over unpaid and past-due legal fees. The petition states the plaintiff represented the defendant in suits over patent infringement and false advertising.

The plaintiff is represented by Craig McLaughlin of Addyhart PC in Irvine, California and Robert Hart of AddyHart PC in Chicago.
