DETROIT (Legal Newsline) – A California man alleges a property he purchased in Michigan was wrongfully foreclosed upon.

Alireza Parsad filed a complaint on Sept. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan against Trott Law PC, David A. Trott, Jane Doe and John Doe alleging fraud and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff purchased a home in Kentwood, Michigan for his senior parents in 2001. He alleges the property was foreclosed upon in a sheriff sale in December 2009. He alleges at the time the property was foreclosed, he was attempting to sell it in a short sale and that the defendants invaded the property, changed the locks and took possession during the redemption period.

The plaintiff holds Trott Law PC, Trott, Jane Doe and John Doe responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide proof of service that actual notice had been given to plaintiff, failed to honor the 30-day debt verification, and deprived plaintiff permanent access and right to possession of his property.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in an amount of more than $75,000 plus costs, disbursements, attorney's fees, interest, and whatever other relief deems just. He is representing himself.
