ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) – An Orlando, Florida corporation alleges that a Georgia corporation owes it more than $200,000 under a contract regarding life insurance policies.

Lext Inc., not individually but as the trustee of the DB Trust, filed a complaint on Aug. 20 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Orlando Division against The Settlement Group alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and defendant entered into an agreement in 2017 for the defendant to purchase certain life insurance policies. The plaintiff alleges in July, it tendered to the defendant a list of reimbursable premiums that totaled $36,708. It alleges the defendant has failed and refused to pay it the amount.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $236,008, plus additional costs, interest, and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by J.
