ST. LOUIS (Legal Newsline) – An Arkansas woman alleges two Missouri residents fraudulently induced her into executing a purchase agreement regarding her cookie business.

Marjorie S. Wilson filed a complaint on May 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri against SKU Foods LLC, Robert Stanton and Olivia Kelvin alleging fraudulent misrepresentation and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff formally launched her cookie business, Soozie's Doozies Gourmet Cookies, in 2003 and filed registration of the Soozie's Doozies trademark.

The suit states in 2007, Stanton approached the plaintiff expressing interest in helping her expand. She alleges leading up to the transaction, she was led to believe she would be a 10 percent owner in SKU Foods LLC that Stanton created, and the purchase agreement was executed in November 2007. She alleges she never given any ownership in SKU.

The plaintiff holds SKU Foods LLC, Stanton and Kelvin responsible because the defendants allegedly misled plaintiff to believe she had a 10 percent ownership or interest in the company, failed to disclose to plaintiff that she was not part-owner of the company and its interest, and induced plaintiff to transfer her business assets and work for defendants for a decade.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for declaratory and equitable relief, compensatory and punitive damages, costs and expenses of action, attorney's fees, interest and further relief as this court may deem just. She is represented by Daniel F. Harvath of Harvath Law Group LLC in Webster Groves, Missouri.
