Consumer alleges Jason Natural Products Inc. are not all natural as claimed on labels

NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) – A New York consumer alleges that a brand of personal care products is not all natural as advertised.

Zeng Jin Li filed a complaint on behalf of herself and all others similarly situated on Feb. 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Jason Natural Products Inc. alleging violation of the New York Deceptive Acts and Practices Act and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant falsely advertises that its products are gentle and all-natural. She alleges the products she purchased contained synthetic ingredients that carry a high risk of harm to users.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against defendant, order certifying the case as a class action, designate plaintiff as class representative, permanent injunction, statutory and actual damages, attorneys' fees and costs.
