Man alleges Me Bath Spa Experience invaded privacy with unwanted texts

MIAMI (Legal Newsline) – A Florida consumer claims a luxury day spa operator sent him unwanted text messages.

Bilal Saleh filed a complaint individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated on Nov. 27 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida against Me Bath Spa Experience LLC alleging violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he received marketing text messages from the defendant without his consent. He alleges that the messages were sent using an automated messaging platform.

The plaintiff holds Me Bath Spa Experience LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly invaded the plaintiff's privacy and caused aggravation, annoyance and inconvenience.

The plaintiff seeks a trial by jury and judgment against defendant for actual, statutory damages, and/or trebled statutory damages; declaratory and injunctive relief; and other relief the court deems reasonable and just.
