Legal services company sues Napoli Shkolnik

AUSTIN, Texas (Legal Newsline) — A Texas legal services business is suing a law firm, alleging breach of contract.

U.S. Legal Support Inc. filed a complaint June 21 in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas against Napoli Shkolnik, PLLC and Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik, LLP, doing business as Napoli Shkolnik, alleging they failed to pay the plaintiff for its services.

According to the complaint, U.S. Legal Support was financially damaged from not being paid. The plaintiff alleges the defendants breached their contractual agreement by failing to pay U.S. Legal for services amounting to $351,153.70.

U.S. Legal Support seeks actual damages, punitive damages, attorney fees and costs of court and pre-and post-judgement interest. They are represented by attorney Stewart Hoffer of Hicks Thomas LLP in Houston.
