LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A Los Angeles County couple are suing a Connecticut corporation, alleging breach of contract.

Michael Spielman and Loretta Spielman filed a complaint May 30 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Paul H. Gesswein Co. Inc. alleging failure to pay settlement funds to the plaintiffs.

The suit says Loretta Spileman is suffering from terminal cancer caused by the defendant.

According to the complaint, the Spielmans were damaged from not being paid their settlement funds as ordered by Los Angeles County Superior Court. The plaintiffs allege Paul H. Gesswein breached its contractual obligation to the plaintiffs by not paying them.

The Spiielmans seek payment of the outstanding portion of the agreed settlement sum, plus additional damages, court costs, interest and all further relief the court grants. They are represented by attorney Paul R. Kiesel of Kiesel Law LLP in Beverly Hills, California.
