LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A California woman consumer is suing law practices, alleging breach of contract and fraud.

Krystle Mantolino of Orange County filed a complaint May 17 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Knepper & Johanson Law Group, Amanda Johanson & Associates, Johanson Law Group CMS, Amanda Johanson, Perla Ortiz, John Davi, Terry Belser and Does 1-10, alleging they deceived consumers into paying monthly payments despite knowing their loans would still be in default.

According to the complaint, Mantolino suffered damages from being defrauded because the defendants made false representations to the plaintiff in order to deceive her into signing a contract that they would handle all aspects of her loan.

Mantolino seeks trial by jury, general and special damages, interest, treble damages, all legal fees, punitive and exemplary damages, and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney Nathaniel Clark of Law Offices of Scott Warmuth, APC in City of Industry, California.
