LuLaRoe sued, leggings are allegedly poorly made

SAN FRANCISCO (Legal Newsline) — Two consumers have filed a class action lawsuit against a California clothing business, alleging design defect and product liability.

Emma Heinichen of California and Andrea Rosica of New Jersey filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, May 18 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against LuLaRoe, LLC, LLR Inc. and Does 1-100, alleging they produced poorly manufactured clothing.

According to the complaint, Heinichen and Rosica were damaged from purchasing a poorly manufactured leggings product. The plaintiffs allege the defendants refused to provide a refund for the defective products.

Heinichen and Rosica seek trial by jury, enjoin the defendant, restitution and disgorgement, compensatory damages, punitive damages, treble damages, attorney fees, interest and all other relief the court deems proper.
