NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) — A shareholder is suing a Kentucky cable company and its officers, alleging violation of federal law.
Satish Doshi filed a class action complaint, individually and on behalf of all other persons similarly situated, Jan. 5 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against General Cable Corporation, Gregory B. Kenny, and Brian J. Robinson, alleging they issued false and misleading statements regarding the company to the public.
According to the complaint, Doshi suffered monetary damages from purchasing General Cable securities at artificially inflated prices. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to disclose facts regarding the company's operation in order to artificially inflate securities prices.
