LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A shareholder is suing a pharmaceutical company and its officers, alleging negligent misrepresentation and violation of federal law.

Lina Arslanian filed a class action lawsuit, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Nov. 4 in U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Allergan PLC, Actavis PLC, Paul M. According to the complaint, Arslanian suffered monetary damages from purchasing securities at inflated prices. The plaintiff alleges the defendants made false and misleading statements in order to artificially inflate securities prices.
