SAN FRANCISCO (Legal Newsline) — A Nevada woman is suing a California company, alleging the defendant accessed the plaintiff's confidential information without consent.

Shatri Sion of Clark County, Nevada, filed a class action complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Oct. 10 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against SunRun Inc. alleging breach of duty, invasion of privacy, and negligent misrepresentation.

According to the complaint, in October 2015, Sion suffered monetary damages from having her credit information accessed without her knowledge. The plaintiff alleges SunRun accessed her consumer report despite having no business need for it.

Sion seeks trial by jury, injunctive relief, statutory damages between $100 and $1,000, all legal fees and all other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorneys Abbas Kazerounian of Kazerouni Law Group APC in Costa Mesa, California, and by Joshua B. Swigart and Sara F. Khosroabadi of Hyde & Swigart in San Diego.
