BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Legal Newsline) — A New York city law firm is suing a California man, alleging he has failed to pay back the money owed to the plaintiff.
Beatie and Osborn LLP and Osborn Law PC filed a lawsuit Oct. 7 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York against Jeffrey C. Bogert of Santa Monica, California, alleging breach of contract and unpaid debt.
According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege the plaintiffs suffered monetary damages due to the unpaid debt of $177,065.56 given to the defendant. The plaintiffs allege Bogert has failed to repay the money loaned to him.
The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, judgment that exceeds the jurisdictional limits of the court, plus all legal fees and interest and any other relief the court deems just. They are represented by attorney Daniel A. Osborn of The Osborn Law Group in Southampton, New York.
