PHILADELPHIA (Legal Newsline) — A consumer has filed a class action lawsuit against Lifeenergy, LLC, a Texas corporation, citing alleged violation of telephone harassment statutes.

Cindy Heffelfinger filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Oct. 5 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against Lifeenergy, LLC alleging that the Texas corporation contacted her in an attempt to solicit its services.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in 2016, she suffered damages from receiving several unwanted phone calls. The plaintiff holds Lifeenergy, LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly contacted her despite being registered with the National Do Not Call Registry.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual and statutory damages, treble damages, injunction against the defendant, court costs and any further relief this court grants. She is represented by Steven L. Woodrow and Patrick H. Peluso of Woodrow & Peluso, LLC in Denver; Stefan Coleman of Law Offices of Stefan Coleman, P.A. in Miami; and Barry L. Cohen in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
