LOS ANGELES (Legal Newsline) — A stockholder has filed a class action lawsuit against National Beverage Corp., Nick A. Caporella, Gregory P. Cook, and George R. Bracken and its board, citing alleged violation of federal law.
John Dermody filed a complaint on behalf of all others similarly situated on Oct. 6 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against the defendants, alleging that they made false and inaccurate statements regarding the company's financial reports.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from being given misleading information regarding the financial status of the company. The plaintiff holds National Beverage Corp., Nick A. Caporella, Gregory P. Cook and George R. Bracken responsible because the defendants allegedly made misleading and false financial reports.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages sustained by plaintiff, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as this court deems just. He is represented by Laurence M. Rosen of The Rosen Law Firm, P.A. in Los Angeles.
