BOSTON (Legal Newsline) — A Massachusetts woman is suing Subaru, alleging the defendant sold her a defective vehicle.

Tatyana Shulman of Mashpee filed a lawsuit Sept. 23 in U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts against Subaru of America, Inc. and Prestige Auto Group LLC, alleging breach of warranty.

According to the complaint, in May 2013, Shulman suffered financial damages from purchasing a defective Subaru Forester for $27,279.19 at Prestige Auto Group in Bourne, Massachusetts. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to repair the defective infotainment unit in Shulman's vehicle.

Shulman seeks trial by jury, monetary damages, interest, replacement of a new vehicle, incidental and consequential damages, treble damages, punitive damages, all legal fees and any other relief the court deems just. She is represented by attorney Sergei Lemberg of Lemberg Law, LLC in Wilton, Connecticut.
