PHOENIX (Legal Newsline) — Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich’s office filed a consumer fraud lawsuit against Sticks N Strings Inc. and its owner, Anthony Bernard, after complaints the company failed to deliver purchased musical instruments.

Sticks N Strings is a musical instrument shop in Tuscon. Seven consumer complaints were filed against it, including one where a consumer allegedly paid the company $20,000 for multiple guitars and yet did not receive them.

“Sticks N Strings should be held accountable for taking its customers hard-earned money and leaving them with nothing in return, ” Brnovich said. "We filed this lawsuit to help these musicians get their money back."

The lawsuit also alleges Bernard falsely said he had issued refunds to consumers.

Assistant Attorney General Stephen Emedi is handling the case.
