WASHINGTON (Legal Newsline) - Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt all are expected to co-host a Republican presidential candidate forum this weekend.
The attorneys general will interview candidates on Fox News' Huckabee with former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee Saturday, according to the Washington Independent. Huckabee also was a candidate in the 2008 Republican presidential primaries.
The forum is one month ahead of the Iowa caucuses, considered the first major electoral event of the nominating process for President.
According to the Independent, presidential hopefuls Michele Bachmann, Newt Gingrich, Ron Paul, Rick Perry, Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum all have been confirmed for the event.
The newspaper said there is still no word on if Herman Cain will appear at the forum.
Cain won the Republican presidential straw poll in Florida in September, ahead of front-runner Perry.
However, in recent months his campaign has been plagued by allegations of sexual misconduct with female employees.
The GOP forum will start at 8 p.m. Saturday.
