S.C. AG endorses Huntsman for president

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Legal Newsline) - South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson has reportedly endorsed Republican presidential candidate Jon Huntsman.

Wilson, joined by Huntsman, made the announcement at the South Carolina Statehouse Monday morning, according to CNN.

Along with Wilson, former South Carolina Attorney General Henry McMaster has endorsed Huntsman, the former Utah governor and U.S. ambassador to China.

Both Wilson and McMaster are Republicans.

Huntsman is competing against U.S. Rep. Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota, former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former U.S. Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania, among others, for the GOP nomination.
