Senate Majority PAC increases ad campaign against Koch brothers

Tillis

WASHINGTON (Legal Newsline) - As part of a multi-state campaign against the Koch family, Senate Majority PAC recently launched new ads in Louisiana and North Carolina.

Senate Majority PAC fights to protect and expand the Democratic majority in the Senate, according to the PAC's website.

Often referred to as the Koch brothers, David and Charles Koch are the heirs of Koch Industries, one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. The brothers use their wealth to fund conservative candidates.

The new SMP ads allege that two Senate Republican candidates, North Carolina Assemblyman Thom Tillis and U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, are siding with
"the out of state, billionaire Koch brothers instead of middle class families and seniors in their states," according to the entity's website.

"From cutting taxes for the wealthiest, to raising taxes on the middle class, ending Medicare as we know it, or raising rates on flood insurance, the Koch agenda is wrong for families and seniors" the website states.

Both ads will air across the state.

So far this cycle, SMP has supported campaigns to fight back against the Koch brothers and other conservative groups in Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Kentucky, and Alaska, the website states.
