ANNAPOLIS, Md. (Legal Newsline) -- Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler will kick off his campaign for governor later this month.
In a post on his blog, Gansler said he will be kicking off his campaign "soon."
The two-term attorney general said his campaign will launch a seven-day statewide announcement tour Sept. 24. It will include 16 stops throughout the state.
"We will travel to every region in the state to talk with Marylanders and share our vision for building our best Maryland," Gansler said.
Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and state Delegate Heather Mizeur also are seeking the Democratic nomination for governor.
All three are looking to take over for current Gov. Martin O'Malley, who is term-limited.
