Pennsylvania AG settles with Bucks County videographer

HARRISBURG, Pa. (Legal Newsline) - Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced a settlement on Friday with a Bucks County wedding videographer who allegedly failed to deliver wedding videos.

Kane's office received 83 complaints from consumers alleging they paid Kenneth Stillman Jr. for wedding videos they did not receive. Stillman, doing business as Kenneth Stillman Video, contracted with consumers and accepted significant upfront payments to provide wedding video services and products. Stillman allegedly failed to provide the products and services or failed to do so in a timely manner.

Stillman also allegedly failed to respond to requests for status updates, consumer complaints, requests for videos and requests for refunds.

Kane's office filed a lawsuit against Stillman alleging he violated Pennsylvania's Consumer Protection Law.

Under the terms of the settlement, Stillman must pay restitution to eligible consumers and civil penalties to the state. He must also deliver any and all outstanding wedding videos in his possession and refrain from violating the state's Consumer Protection Law in the future.

The agreement, which was filed in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas, is subject to court approval.
