Attorney General Peter F. Neronha announced that a Burrillville man has been charged in Kent County Superior Court with possession of a ghost gun and large capacity magazines following his arrest on May 19, 2023, by Warwick Police.

On March 20, 2024, the Office of the Attorney General charged Michael Durvin (age 57), by way of criminal information, with one count of possession of a ghost gun, one count of possession of a large capacity magazine, and one count of disorderly conduct.

As alleged in the criminal information, on May 19, 2023, Warwick Police responded to a report of a man in a black Toyota Highlander brandishing a firearm at another vehicle during a road rage incident. Police then conducted a search of the vehicle, during which they found a Polymer 80 9mm handgun, a Glock handgun, and five 15 round magazines.

The defendant is scheduled for arraignment on April 12, 2024, in Kent County Superior Court.
