BOSTON (Legal Newsline) — The estate of a 46-year-old man killed in a Massachusetts car wreck is suing the man arrested for allegedly causing the crash while racing at 120 mph.

Amy Wojdag, as personal representative of the Estate of Michael Wojdag, filed a complaint Sept. 29 in the Suffolk County Superior Court against Hedweens Quetant, alleging wrongful death and other claims.

According to the plaintiffs' complaint, Michael Wojdag was driving a Chevy Tahoe on I-93 in Braintree on Feb. 19 with Ryan Wojdag and Amy Wojdag as passengers. They claim Quetant was racing another driver when he struck the Wojdag's vehicle and caused it to overturn.

They further claim Michael Wojdag was killed in the collision and that Amy and Ryan Dojdag suffered injuries and incurred medical bills of more than $2,000. According to local news reports regarding the accident, Boston Police believe Quetant was driving 120 mph.

The plaintiffs claim Quetant's negligence for failing to bring his vehicle to a safe stop, failing to yield to other cars on the road and for failing to maintain control of his vehicle.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. They are represented by Thomas Flaws of Altman Nussbaum Shunnarah Trial Attorneys in Boston,.
