MIAMI (Legal Newsline) — A New Jersey consumer has filed a class action lawsuit against a food business, alleging negligent misrepresentation.

Jerome Ramsaran filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, April 24 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida Miami Division against Tabatchnick Fine Foods Inc., alleging the defendant represents its products as all-natural from its labels.

According to the complaint, Ramsaran was damaged from being induced into purchasing a product that he thought were made with all natural ingredients. The plaintiff alleges Tabatchnick Fine Foods misleads consumers by saying their products were all-natural despite containing artificial and synthetic ingredients.

Ramsaran seeks trial by jury, enjoin the defendant, actual damages, attorney fees and court costs, pre- and post-judgment interest, and all other proper relief. He is represented by attorneys Angela Arango-Chaffin of Chaffin Law Firm in Miami Beach, Florida, and by Alexander Korolinsky of West Palm Beach..
