Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.

Two Pillsbury partners, Patty DeGaetano and Eric Kremer, were recently included in this year’s elite “San Diego 500: The Book of Influential Business Leaders” for 2019.

The publication cited Kremer’s role as managing partner of Pillsbury’s downtown and Carmel Valley offices, and his work representing local developers. Among others, he advised Coast Income Properties in The Village at Pacific Highlands Rach project, and Education First in the development of the EF International Language Center at the old Cabrillo Hospital in the Midway District. On a pro bono basis, Kremer represented North County charity Brother Benno’s Center in the renegotiation of the lease for its thrift shop in Oceanside.

DeGaetano was recognized for her work as a partner in the firm’s Corporate practice. The publication noted that her high-profile clients have included Petco and Receptos. It also reported that she was named Advisor of the Year in 2017 by BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Among her community activities, she chairs the board of San Diego Youth Services, a nonprofit focused on homeless, runaway, abused and at-risk youth and their families. She also serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a foster child through the nonprofit Voices for Children.
