New York Partner Ellen H. Greiper has been appointed to the Board of the National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC). NAWIC’s core purpose is to enhance the success of women in the construction industry. Currently, NAWIC has a membership of more than 6,000 with 170 chapters in almost every state. “I hope to continue the work of NAWIC and its drive to engage women in all aspects of construction,” said Ms. Greiper.

Ms. Greiper has more than three decades of experience defending multi-party construction and construction labor law defect cases in state and federal courts in New York. She co-authored a comprehensive survey examining a cross-section of construction cases from around the country for Mealey’s Litigation Reports: Construction Defects (updated in 2017). Ms. Greiper is also co-author of the New York State Bar Association's Construction Site Personal Injury Litigation, first published in 2014 and updated in 2018.
