GREENBERG & TRAURIG: Samuel L. Moultrie Named a Delaware Business Times ‘2018 DBT40’ Award Winner

Samuel L. Moultrie, a Litigation associate in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP’s Delaware office, has been named a Delaware Business Times'“2018 DBT40” award winner.

Moultrie was honored at an event Oct. 23 at The Baby Grand in Wilmington, DE. According to Delaware Business Times, “The DBT40 event pays tribute to these ambitious professionals who are making a name for themselves through professional excellence and community involvement.”

Moultrie focuses his practice on complex litigation involving corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, books and records demands, and securities law in Delaware state and federal courts, including the Court of Chancery. He also represents companies in cases involving trade secrets, tortious interference, and other related claims.

Moultrie is active in the community and dedicates his time to many charitable organizations. He serves on the Board of Directors of Delmarva Community Blood Foundation, OperaDelaware, and The Next Generation North of the Delaware Community Foundation. He also serves as chairman of the Wilmington City Council Organization Commission and in leadership roles at the Delaware State Bar Association and American Bar Association.

Moultrie received his J.D. in 2013 from Regent University Law School where he was the Articles Editor for the Regent University Law Review; his M.A. in 2013 from the Regent University Robertson School of Government; and his B.A., cum laude, in 2008 from Upper Iowa University. He was a clerk for the Hon. Robert J. Humphreys, Court of Appeals of Virginia, 2011-2013.
