BROOKLYN (Legal Newsline) — A Brooklyn man has filed a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer, alleging breach of implied warranty, fraud, negligent misrepresentation and unjust enrichment.

Alexander Tsvettsikh filed a complaint, individually and on behalf of all others similarly situated, Feb. 22 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York against WBM LLC, doing business as WBM International, alleging the defendant obtained profit through unfair or deceptive trade or commerce.

According to the complaint, Tsvettsikh and other similarly situated consumers have been harmed by relying on the defendant's fraudulent misrepresentations on the efficacy of its Himalayan Glow Salt Lamps and Salt Candle Holders products, by making several deceptive marketing claims about the health benefits and medical prowess of the products.

The plaintiffs allege the defendant deprived consumers of the promised benefits of the products, and failed to update the plaintiffs regarding the products' inability to fulfill its medical claims.

The plaintiffs seek trial by jury, maintain the case as a class action and appoint Tsvettsikh as representative and his counsel as class counsel, compensatory and statutory damages, corrective advertising campaign, interest, attorney fees, court costs, and all other just relief. They are represented by attorneys C.K. Lee and Anne Seelig of Lee Litigation Group PLLC in New York.
