Marc Dann (D)

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Legal Newsline)-Disgraced former Ohio Attorney General Marc Dann misused a state plane to travel from his home in Youngstown and take his daughter on flights, an investigation found.

Ohio Inspector General Tom Charles said in a report that Dann, in addition to using the plane to commute, he twice took his daughter on flights for which she wasn't authorized.

Amid pressure from fellow Democrats, Dann resigned from office in May following a sexual harassment scandal and an internal report that criticized the first-term AG for fostering a hostile work environment.

Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland appointed Nancy Hardin Rogers, who was dean of Ohio State University's law school, as attorney general until someone is elected in November to complete the two years remaining on Dann's term.
